This Scabbard is 41" in length to where the butt flap folds over. The open top, makes it ideal for many short rifles with scopes. Colors brown, as shown with a standard pump action shotgun. 410 PISTOL GRIP SHOTGUN SCABBARD
This fits a cut-down .410 shotgun,
ideal for snakes, vermin, etc. Straps to your saddle, or all-terrain
vehicle, or carry it by hand. Also available is a bandolier sling.
Inside is lined with soft kidskin leather to protect your gun. The
design also works for .45 revolvers , or other snap-down guns, up to
and exceeding barrel lengths of 10" . The overall length of the
scabbard is 17". The cartridge loops for 410 and .45 are identical.
Loops are positioned on the leading edge of the scabbard. Which means
it can be mounted on the near side of the horse, which is left hand
when you are sitting in the saddle, or the off side, which is the right
hand when you are sitting in the saddle. Straps attach to the horn of a
Western saddle, and go back to the girthing ring or girthing straps.
Arrangements can be made for many other saddles, including English and
Australian.

SCOPE RIFLE SCABBARD
Finally, a scope rifle scabbard that can be mounted to the horse, or carried over the shoulder. It comes with both harness systems, each system removable. The scabbard is made from heavy duty Australian cowhide, lined with fleece to protect the gun. All straps are web-lined, and all stress points are riveted. This picture shows the SCOPE RIFLE SCABBARD mounted with the shoulder strap visible, but not in use. It is pictured on the off-side of the horse, but can also be mounted on the near-side if prefered. The scabbard here is packing a .303 scope rifle with 23" barrel. The scabbard can take rifles several inches longer in barrel length, because the press-snap top is removable. This top comes as part of the unit to protect the gun in rain. Merino sheepskin lined breastplate goes around the front, to protect the horse from the sturdy securing webbing. The side straps mount to the girth, or the girth rings, on either side of the saddle. The shoulder strap is removable, as indeed are all the straps, depending on if the scabbard is being mounted on the horse, a vehicle, or a person.

Army Scabbard
The US Army Style Carbine Scabbard is built with sturdy leather, and solid
brass buckles. It attaches to the saddle at any of four points. It is shown
here on the off-side front, for a right hand pull from the saddle. A soft
leather strap wraps around the stock and secures the gun via a brass nipple.

Carbine Scabbard
Pictured here is the M-4 carbine scabbard, as
designed by the Australian Stock Saddle Company for the US Special Forces in
Afghanistan. This military version is fitted with a clip, allowing the gun
to pull loose, in the event of a crash. The gun is secured to the rider by a
lanyard, tied to the rider's belt. Civilian versions of this scabbard have a
series of slots, with a top securing strap, allowing ANY hunting gun to be
secured. at the top, with the muzzle in a boot. In the civilian version,
lanyards, and a clip, could also be used. In which case, please specify
gun. The scabbard is completely lined with pure sheepskin, to ensure horse
comfort. An off-side pouch for a dry load measures 13" in depth, 8" at its
widest, with a storm-secure top over a 4" gullet.

BANDOLIER SHOTGUN SCABBARD
The BANDOLIER SHOTGUN SCABBARD, built on rugged harness leather, offers
an easy way for hunters to carry a shotgun. The scabbard is 31" in length,
and is lined on the inside with fake fur (to prevent moisture, and to
protect the gun) . The loops across the chest carry twenty-six (26)
12-gauge. Other rounds for different rifles can be substituted. The strap
going across the chest is 3" wide, and is lined with sheep skin where it
goes over the shoulder. The scabbard can also be carried on a saddle, by
lashing the back strap to the horn. A strap to the girth can be accessed by
sliding the strap through the leather loop that circles the center of the
scabbard. The bandolier in that case could be unbuckled and worn as a
bandolier-only by the rider.

The BANDOLIER SHOTGUN
SCABBARD comes with a connector strap fitted with two slots. This removable
connector strap is attached to a brass D halfway up the scabbard. This
