Equalizer Saddle Pad
The EQUALIZER SADDLE PAD is a major breakthrough in how to
greatly reduce saddle pressure. The underside in l/2" layer of
wool felt, and the top is tough perforated neoprene, and IN
BETWEEN is sandwiched a layer of durable flexible plastic, also
perforated for ventilation. What this sheeting does -- on either
side, leaving the spine clear -- is lateralize any pressure
point of a saddle. It spreads out the bearing force in that
area. The pad is ideal for making one saddle fit many different
backs -- or many different saddles fit the same back!. With this
pad, the saddle can actually fit badly, and it will work in as
much as it will greatly decrease the chances of the horse
developing a sore back. In the standard size, the pad is 28" in
length at its longest, and 32" wide at its widest. It is
scalloped out over the wither, and built with a dip to imitate
the top line of most horses.

These are the plates that are sandwiched between the top and the felt bottom of the EQUALIZER pad. High tech durable plates are sealed in neoprene.
The plates bend with the movement of the horse, but will spread out pressure in a high-pressure area, thus eliminating "hot spots".

The ENGLISH EQUALIZER PAD
This pad is lined with pure Merino sheepskin, backed by pure wool felt. Shown here under an 18" all purpose saddle. One size only. This pad fits well under 16" and 17" English saddles, also 19",
because of the way it is cut. Overall length is 24". Depth front the topline, over the stirrup bars, to the lowest point in the front, is 12". There are toggles in front to tie to the rings of an
English breastplate.

The EQUALIZER PAD FELT LINED
This is an upgraded version of this remarkable pad. It is
lined with 1/2" of pure wool felt. It also comes with black latigo keepers to help secure the pad. The keepers can be attached to back cinch ring, or a back cinch ring billet pint can be threaded thru. .

The pad is stuffed with wool felt. with rip-stop canvas on the top. The bottom side, that is against the horse, is built with the same breathable dimpled acrylic we use on all our girths, and have done for over 20 years. Seat Saver with Tailbone Cutaway
We have developed a special seat saver for riders who suffer from "tailbone" injuries,
or are otherwise sensitive in that area. The seat saver is built with the highest quality
seating material, backed with soft leather, and covered with genuine Merino sheepskin.
It straps to any saddle. The pad is cut away under the tailbone area, so the sensitive cartilage
makes no contact with a hard surface. The neighboring "pin" bones within the bottom cheeks support
the entire bearing weight of the rider.
This pad has enabled people to ride who otherwise had to give up!.

Wedge Navajo Blanket
A wedge Navajo blanket is an answer to the old question: how do you
put the same saddle on two different horses. First, you do wither
tracings for both horses. Then we fit your saddle to the widest horse,
and THEN we build a special blanket the front section of which houses a
tapered wedge of high density felt. On the wide horse, use a standard
pad. On the more narrow horse, use the wedge pad. By pulling the blanket
forward you can adjust its height. The more forward you pull it, the
smaller the lift. We build this in our regular fleece (as in sheep's
wool) lined Navajo. Various colors.

Western Pad with Cutout
We are now making saddle pads for Western saddles out of pure Merino sheepskin,
for the high withered horse that finds it hard to wear a regular Western saddle,
because the gullet falls down and hits the top of the withers. We cut out a section of the pad,
and lift each side with half inch of high density felt.
FOR HORSES WITH REGULAR WITHERS, WE PRODUCE THE SAME PAD WITH NO CUTOUT.
Pure sheepskin is great because it keeps the back cool, and offers incredible comfort for the horse.
