|

The Australian Stock Saddle Company has been working with
US Special Forces to develop a scabbard for the M-4 assault rifle. This scabbard
will be used by forces in Afghanistan who operate on horse back. These forces
already make use of our saddles and now they will have easy access to the M-4
while on horseback. |

The adjustable rifle scabbard fits barrel
lengths up to 40". Ideal for scope rifles. The muzzle boot moves up and
down, as desired for the length of gun being carried. The adjusting
slide is secured by two Phillips-head heavy duty screws. The scabbard is
stationed forward of the saddle, to greatly reduce the impact of the
weight -- it is directly over the front legs of the horse. The scabbard
is lined with pure sheepskin for horse comfort.
Colors Brown of black.
