Center-Fire Rigging

Center-fire rigging is an ideal way to set back the girth on a horse with sensitive skin at the elbow. Avoids galling. It is especially useful with mule, where saddles tend to slide forward. Extra long nylon tackaberry lacing, with buckle. Priced at $55.00 a pair.

Australian to Western Converter

And now, a converter to take the GRUNT out of cinching. Works on any Australian stock saddle that has a surcingle slot for an overgirth, or surcingle, and a billet strap that is attached to the saddle. Simply buckle the converter as high as possible on the billets, and now you have Big D rigging for any Western system. Price: $39.00 per pair.

Double Billet Surcingle

This is the style of SURCINGLE that is necessary to attach a pair of Aussie converters. Make sure holes are punch up as high as possible on this surcingle, so the converters can be placed as high as possible. A girth four inches shorter than normal is necessary with the converters, because the cinch ring is now lower. Sizes STANDARD or WIDE. Colors black or brown.

Ring Surcingle

Pictured left is a Ring Surcingle with a billet strap. Center is the DOUBLE RING SURCINGLE. This takes the girth that uses a tackaberry lacing coming off a Big-D rig. And at right is the DOUBLE BILLET surcingle. This takes a girth with two buckles at each end -- or is used to hold a converter in place.
