Muster Master Deluxe Australian Saddle

SAD 800

One of our most popular saddles, the Muster Master Deluxe raised the bar for mid-priced excellence. It features top grade Australian tanned leather, a web suspended seat, genuine merino sheepskin lining, and an adjustable tree built with wood and aluminum. The saddles come in a two-tone brown or all black. The optional horn is angled forward to stay out of the way during an uphill rush or everyday trail riding. The girthing system is in-skirt C-rigging, which provides even pressure on the front and back of the horse when the saddle fits correctly. The knee pads are 3.5 inches, the seat is 5 inches, and the weight is 26 pounds in a standard seat size. Opting for a horn adds $100 to the price.

This saddle comes with western style fenders, nylon off-side strap, on-side tackaberry buckle with nylon strap, standard western stirrups (STIR 970), and a neoprene cinch.

Weight: without fittings approximately 26 lbs
(larger seat sizes will weigh slightly more)
Seat Depth: 5", Kneepads: 3.5"
Panel Type: Sheepskin

My husband purchased this for me, I love the saddle, a bit of a personal issue getting the hang of the tackaberry having been western all my life......ride is fabulous, fits well on my Standardbred mare.

A great saddle!

I never once thought about owning an Australian saddle. I was In love with my western ranch saddle. It was great! But my short backed horse was having rubbing problems with it, so I started shopping. A friend and frequent riding partner suggested that I try out her Aussie saddle. She was a happy customer of yours. Once I rode it, and got the feel for it, I loved it and ordered my own. I couldn't be happier! It felt different at first. Even my horse had to work through a short adjustment phase. But soon we were both loving it, and I'm much more in tune with my horse now! The poleys are great at holding you in, in all kinds of rough terrain. And the padded seat is super comfortable! I did have to learn to stay closer with the saddle when posting and cantering, but the adjustment was quick and easy for me, and I'm sure it will be for most riders. No regrets. I love this saddle. I'm just a couple of days into it, but I've been pushing it hard up and down steep grades , scrambling through water crossings, and getting aggressive on tight wooded terrain, as well as opening it up in the hay fields, and it's all been good! The saddle looks great, fits great, and the lighter weight is a plus to both my horse and myself. I'm a quality/ performance guy. For me, this saddle gets high marks in both areas! For trail riding, I consider this to be a great saddle! I don't think you will be disappointed.
